About Us

The birth of Malaysia Brands Directory is inspired by the call of the Prime Minister, YAB. Dato’ Seri Abdullah Bin Haji Ahmad Badawi in Mission 2057 that reemphasised the important of Malaysia-own “truly global corporations, respected and market-leading brands” and “Branding Malaysia is the next big task”. With this mandate and in response to the Government’s objective of nurturing and facilitating the growth of the Malaysian brands to be global brands, the Malaysia Brands project is dedicated to the promotions and improvement of branding standards in Malaysia by profiling strong and most valuable brands in our country from a unique brand marketing perspective.

After the successful launched of the inaugural edition that featured more than 150 products & services brands and 55 corporate brands, we're proud to announce the launching of the 2nd Edition. The upcoming edition is going to be an exciting progress for Malaysia business world and also international market. It covers the history, profile innovations, and achievements of the Malaysia's most-admired companies. This book also features the expert insights and opinions of the Malaysia branding environment from the prospective of brand management, product management, advertising, marketing or public relations.

As innovation and brand excellence is one of the utmost factors for entrepreneurial success in the global economy, it is our Mission to compile and recognise both the home grown and international brands that are available in Malaysia.
